Our Process and Treatments
Your Journey to Recovery: What to Expect from Assessment to Treatment

Step 1: Initial Consultation and Injury Assessment
Your journey begins with a thorough initial consultation, where we’ll ask you to complete a form detailing your medical history, injury, and any ongoing conditions that may be contributing to your symptoms. During your injury assessment, we’ll explore the history of your issue, including when and how your symptoms started, what alleviates or worsens them, and how they affect your daily activities. A physical examination will help us identify the underlying causes of your discomfort, sometimes involving specialised tests to isolate affected structures. While these tests may temporarily provoke discomfort, they are essential for pinpointing the problem and creating an effective treatment plan.
Step 2: Developing Your Personalised Treatment Plan
Based on the findings of your assessment, your sports therapist will craft a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. This plan may include:

-
Massage Therapy: Relieve muscle tension and pain quickly and safely with hands-on techniques designed to promote relaxation and healing.
-
Rehabilitation Plans: Receive a customised rehab program with exercises tailored to your lifestyle and goals. Your plan will be emailed to you, complete with a bespoke video library to guide you through each step.
-
Spinal Mobilisations: Address musculoskeletal conditions and restore spinal integrity through targeted spinal joint mobilisations, reducing pain and encouraging natural healing.
-
Kinesiology Taping: Enhance muscle function, stabilize joints, and manage pain and swelling with expertly applied kinesiology tape.

Step 3: Moving Forward With Confidence
As you progress through your treatment plan, we’ll support you every step of the way to ensure your recovery is on track. Regular reassessments will help us adapt your plan as needed, keeping your goals at the forefront of your journey.
